Renée is certified on the Mat and the Reformer, with additional training using small equipment (toning balls, foam rollers, fitness circles, etc). She has been teaching Pilates for 6 years, with well over 10 years of additional fitness instructing experience. She first pursued Pilates certification while working as a Certified Kinesiologist in a clinical setting with a diverse client population. Incorporating Pilates teachings and techniques was a game-changer not just for helping her clients achieve their fitness goals, but also for her personally in overcoming the chronic aches and pains that come with years of competitive hockey and soccer. With a strong foundation in exercise science, including rehabilitation, cardio and strength training, she stays up to date with the latest Pilates training through the Stott Pilates continuing education program. She is looking forward to working with the Moksha community to deliver a Pilates program focused on building strength, flexibility, stamina, and balance.
